Dactylella passalopaga?
Garcia Susana, 26-10-2021 23:39
Hola,

Susana

Re : Dactylella passalopaga?
You are right. The anamorph of Hyalorbilia was Brachyphoris, but with 1 fungus 1 name we placed it in synonymy (see monograph). D. passalopaga would otherwise have been a candidate for combining in Brachyphoris.

Since there is heterogeneity within H. inflata, and the anamorphs show much morphological homogeneity, it remains unclear what D. passalopaga strictly speaking was.

Did you study the Hyalorbilia, does it fit the taxon with broad or with narrow marginal cells?

What was the substrate?

Zotto

Gracias Zotto,

Good photo, and clearly broad-celled (up to ca. 10 µm), although you did not include a scale.

The wood is none of them. Ring-pored, again a scale would help What is the diameter of the pores? The small pores are not clearly seen. Not sure if it could be Ulmus

Re : Dactylella passalopaga?
Ha! such a clear case. Ulmus, no doubt. I assume it was a branch on the moist ground?

I would place your photos in my folder. Please give some data (date, locality).
