Ascobolus denudatus?

Good evening everyone,I recently bred an Ascobolus on droppings from Roe deer. I found the droppings in Rooiveld in Waardamme (West Flanders, Belgium).
The sessile, yellowish ascomata measure 1 to 2.5mm.
- Ascospores:
° ellipsoid with rounded/blunt tops.
° Smooth with mainly subparallel, longitudinal grooves
° Av(15) (17.22)17.95(18.93) x (9.46)9.74(10.73)µm
- Asus width: 22.66µm.
- Excipulum with subgolobose to pyriform cells with rusty brown walls (no evidence photo of).
Yi-Jian Yao's key brings me to denudatus.
Can anyone confirm/correct this determination?
William

Re : Ascobolus denudatus?
Hello William.
If possible, could you show more photos of the spores and the tops of the paraphyses which must be encased in a yellowish-green pigment.
Michel.

Re : Ascobolus denudatus?
Hello William.
I'm not sure your mushroom is denudatus; although there seem to be traces of a greenish mucus in places, the ornamentation of the spores does not resemble it. Maybe they are not ripe enough? Monitor your crops for a few days.
Michel.
