Re:Trichonectria sp. on Ustulina deusta
The spore sizes are somewhat similar to T.rectipila, but a little to thick and the hairs are much to small.... but I does not have describtion of fungicolous members of Trichonectria (Samuels 1988)
There is NO KOH reaction, the perithecjum wall is thin, the perithecjums cells are thick-walled, hairs are thick-walled, walls remain refractivity in KOH. Hairs (0-) 1-septate !
Assoc. with ?Cosmospora. Any idea please?
Best wishes

It is very pretty. I have not seen it before. Are you certain that the asci are not bitunicate?

Oh no! I'm not sure :( ;(
I can test it on herbarium specimens or next week I can test it on fresh collection.
