I hope to investigate the population genetics of Hypocreopsis rhododendri, and I would therefore like to visit some sites at which the fungus occurs in France. I have the records given in Candoussau, F. (1990) Hypocreopsis rhododendri in southern France. Mycologist, 4(4), 170-171, but I'm struggling to work out exactly where the sites are.
I would be very grateful if anyone could give me any information on where exactly this fantastic fungus may be found.

P.S. The records given in the paper are:
Lourdois, Pays de Boretous, 300 m, near a creek, Arudy
Ossau Valley, 200 m, near Arudy
Thermes de Lurbe St Christau, 200 m, Lannes
Pays de Boretous, 600 m, Route de Somport.
Pont de la Bique, 850 m.

I live here (Pyrénées Atlantiques-64) and I know, at least, ten stations of Hypocreopsis rhododendri.
I can tell you where, I can show you, accompany you or send you fresh specimens ... It's like you want.
This fungus is very common here but it's difficult to find it if you don't know where you will find !
Don't hesitate to tell me what you need !
