Bonjour à tous,Une question de "rédaction nomenclaturale".
J'ai cherché un peu partout mais je n'ai pas trouvé la signification de cette abréviation.
Dans Opera botanica, 1990, Schumacher, à l'espèce Scutellinia patagonica, synonymise S. peloponnesiaca J. Mor., Ceska Myk. 28 : 20, 1974 nom. monstr.
Que signifie nom. monstr. ?
Je pense à nomen monstruosum, puisque dans le texte il désigne le type comme une collection aberrante, immature...etc. Mais je n'ai pas trouvé confirmation dans les documentations botaniques en rapport. Est-ce qu'un tel classement exclu l'espèce ou qu'en est-il ?

Your guess seems correct. Though I have never seen the abbreviation before, ir is clear what was intended. Knowing Dr. Schumacher personally, it seems quite likely he would invent a new Latin term abbreviation to describe such an aberrant collection.Maybe it exists in the botanical lexicon and neither of us has encountered it.

Je crois que le terme exact est "Nomen monstrositatis" utilisé pour désigner un nom latin accordé non pas à une espèce nouvelle mais à une forme anormale ("monstrueuse") d'une espèce déjà décrite (ou validement décrite postérieurement à la description de sa forme anormale). J'ignore quel est le statut actuel de ce terme dans le Code, mais on peut le trouver dans le Dictionary of the Fungi, 10th Ed. p. 470.
