There is a similar species on Crataegus ("submuriformis") in which the hymenium and excipulum stains pinkish-lilac in KOH. So could you please look what colour your section takes in KOH?

One of Guy Marson's undescribed species.
Important is to look whether the spore wall is smooth or warted. Do you have a close-up of a spore? Also by focussing on the wall surface?

Re : Dactylospora sur Buxus sempervirens
Hi friends,
I regurlarly meet this nice little discomycete since 2008. I've very recently found it. Exactly the same.
Did you, or Guy, get taxonomical news since 2013 ?
As the bark of my branch is greened, I thought for a while of a lichenized fungus. But nothing assures me that the alga is associated with this fungus. Presence also in the vicinity of 3 liverworts: Metzgeria furcata, Radula complanata and Frullania dilatata.
Best wishes,
Alain

Re : Dactylospora sur Buxus sempervirens
Hi Alain, I am not really familiar with this genus. There exist some sequences by Guy from submuriformis on Crataegus. In the meantime, one must take care also of the anamorph, no idea if any was described on Buxus. The generic name Sclerococcum is now used instead of Dactylospora. (see Olariaga et al. 2019)

Re : Dactylospora sur Buxus sempervirens
I am sceptical if there will be anyone to describe these. Perhaps in 100 years :-(
