Re : Cercophora?
Are the mature ascospores in the last picture typical?  Do most of them have a brown tail (pedicle) as well as a brown head?

Re : Cercophora?
Hello Andy.

Normally, immature spores Camptosphaeria are not sigmoid? Correct? I know very little about this kind of Cercophora very close, I think it should be a section of the wall for greater accuracy. I think you've already found Camptosphaeria citrinella?

Regards.

Michel.

Re : Cercophora?

Hello Andy and Michel,

With the above mentioned sporesize only tow species as mentioned In the key of the following article   http://www.landesmuseum.at/pdf_frei_remote/Sydowia_29_0071-0074.pdf remain C. Citrinella and C. Sulphurea. With a width of 11.78-12.41 um  I would go for C Sulphurea

I also have photos of spore developement in the ascus, also there is someting present in top of all asci which I cannot give a name. (dots 1 and 2 in photo 2). It's also present in the ascus of photo 5 of the initial topic report.
