.. found yesterday in the Bavarian Forest (Germany), on a Fagus log. The fungus grows on the hymenium and looks like black dots, with a closer look as (collapsing) spheres with an opening (fotos 3 and 4 with DNT Digital microscope)


When I found the specimen, I thought of Gelatinopsis geoglossi that is known to grow on Trametes versicolor. But - to my surprise and a little disappointment - I found only anamorphic structures under the microscope.


Interesting ones, because of the sperma-formed conidia.


Does somebody have an idea?

Ich bin unterwegs und finde im Netz auf die Schnelle nichts Vernünftiges - werde aber zu Hause in meiner Bibliothek nachschlagen. Wo ist die Art denn dargestellt?

Ja, Zotto war schneller. Im Helfer ist auch noch weitere Literatur angeführt. Ansonsten kannst du hier auf Seite 1023 f. inzwischen die Originalbeschreibung lesen: http://www.landesmuseum.at/pdf_frei_remote/SBAWW_117_0985-1032.pdf. />
