Yellow Hymenoscyphus with purplish brown stem
Juuso Äikäs, 10-07-2022 10:51
I found a few small fruitbodies of these growing in a ditch on an unidentified herbaceous stem.

Asci 8-spored, with croziers, IKI+(bb). Spores 8.5 - 13.9 × 3.5 - 4.2 µm.

Any idea what the species is?

Hymenoscyphus repandus, the form with croziers.

Okay, thanks! I've found the form without croziers before on Filipendula, but that one had a pale stem and a bit narrower spores.

The purplish stem is probably no stable character, at least I know the species with white stem.
