Ascocoryne cylichnium?

Saludos,

Andrés Valverde Valera

Re : Ascocoryne cylichnium?
Hello

the spores are mature, they were forcibly ejected from the asci in your preparation. Only when overmature they get septate and produce conidia.

Yes, this is A. cylichnium, easily recognized by the multiguttulate spores. But there is a sibling with the same characteristics, the only difference is in the ascus base (without croziers vs. with croziers in cylichnium). There appears to be no published name for the species without croziers.
