Malcolm GreavesI found this Geoglossum in the lawn area of a local monestary along with some other Geoglossum umbratile and Trichoglossum sp but this one is a close match to G pseudoumbratile. Has anyone seen this species or have any other suggestions?
Spores 7 septate c 90-100. The paraphyses are mostly swollen (looking like a Glutinoglossum) but with some "beak" shaped and hooked. The stem has cylindrical elements with no swelling.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Thanks for that. Now it makes sense. I was fooled by the fact that most of the first mature spores I found were 7 septate and that took me down the wrong path. I have re-examined more carefully and found lots of non-septate spores and others with a variety of septa. Must be more thorough in my examinations in the future.
Thanks again.
