Durella on Quercus
Juuso Äikäs, 20-04-2023 15:56
These little black ascos were growing on the upper side of a fallen, decorticated trunk of Quercus robur.

Asci 8-spored, with croziers, IKI+(bb). Paraphyses filiform at the lower part, swollen at the tip and glued together in bunches with some exudate. Spores 4-celled, with a large guttule in each of the cells, measuring 16 - 18.3 × 6.2 - 6.8 µm.

Could this pass as Durella melanochlora?

Re : Durella on Quercus
I suppose yes. The size of the LBs in the spores appears to vary in this species.
