Two lonely lecideine apothecia (0.15mm and 0.2 mm) were observed growing on the blackened bark of a poplar twig in the Mediterannean. The epithecium was a greenish blue-black and the colourless hymenium around was around 60um. Asci measured 34-44 x 9-10.5um. Hyaline 3- 4-septate spores, tapering at both ends and often bent, 14-23 X 2.5-3.5um. This is not fitting any of my lichen keys. Could it be a saprobic ascomycete?
